ICU Cabinet Considers UgX. 18.8bn Budget for 2024

The Iteso Cultural Union Cabinet has today, Saturday 4, May 2024 received a draft Budget of UGX. 18.8bn for the year January 2024 to December 2024.

The Minister for Finance, Planning and Development, Hon. Joshua Etyang Kaamu made the presentation to a cabinet sitting attended by Emorimor Papa. Iteso, HRH. Paul Sande Etomeileng Emolot. The budget is intended to empower the Iteso to take charge of their culture by actively contributing to its defend.

The cabinet also considered the 2024 activity calendar, running scholarship memoranda, training of clan leaders, Ere Iteso and Airiget. The sitting also resolved that the corronation anniversary for 2024 shall be held in Kenya on 22/10/2024.
Others issues considered include the forthcoming Livestock symposium and tourism symposium.
