Enos is derived from the word ainotakin meaning to flock /gather/unite. Kopiten is derived from the ipiten or epitene which means culture. Enos Iteso Kopiten means flocking together in unity under the Iteso culture

That is destined to bind us into unity and social progress; Convinced of our common identity and sharing in that natural origin. Determined to consolidate our common understanding through our rich and expressive language with such responsibility and potentiality within us; Do hereby resolve for solidarity through our union established under the constitution which we agree to adopt, defend and uphold for ourselves and our posterity.
